TONI FEDERICO

"Ice Cream Therapy"

Artist: Toni Federico

Hi-Resolution Digital Image, 2025

"This digital gouache illustration is meant to capture all of the ways ice cream - specifically Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip - has been a comfort to me throughout my life. It's my favorite flavor. When I was feeling low and wanted to feel better it was my go to. When I had no one around to offer a hug, or comfort, or clarity, I had Mint Chocolate Chip. It's also a subtle nod to the trope of women eating ice cream after a break up. This was created digitally in Procreate on an iPad using gouache style brushes."
