"We experience an intimate pleasure with food, even when all other aspects of our lives may be fraught with difficulties. The more we recognize the connection we have to our food, the more we can nurture practices that are healthy and life-affirming."
Theresa Martin is a printmaker living and working in Lawrence KS. She finds human faces endlessly fascinating. Faces convey the story of being human, and the longer a person has been on this earth, the more that person’s face tells its story, which is why most of her prints are of older people, whose faces have had time to develop character.
